bernama Charlie, sinopsis dari Goodreads : Charlie is a

Cara
penceritaan yang unik dan karakter yang begitu manusiawi membuat pembaca pribadi
merasa dekat dengan Charlie, terlebih lagi buku ini adalah kumpulan surat yang
ditulis Charlie ke anonymous reader sehingga berasa Charlie sendirilah yang
curhat dengan pembaca. Curhat tentang keluarganya, teman-temannya, permasalahan
yang biasa kita jumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Charlie bisa dibilang
remaja yang lugu, polos dan jujur.

Hamlet dan masih banyak lagi. Semoga penerbit lokal ada yang melirik dan
menerbitkan The Perks of Being a Wallflower, buku yang pantas dibaca oleh remaja maupun orang dewasa.
Charlie memang bukan tokoh remaja tahan banting, tapi ia mengajarkan kita
berbeda dengan orang lain itu tidak masalah, jujur pada diri sendiri. Itu yang
penting.
Tahun 2012 yang lalu,
filmnya ditayangkan oleh produksi perusahaan Mr. Mudd dan Summit Entertainment yang
mempromosikan film ini. Mr. Mudd's producer, John Malkovich, Lianne Halfon, and Russell
